Replica Tudor Pewter Feilding Buttons for Renaissance/Elizabethan Reenactment
We're thrilled to offer a variety of reproduction buttons made exclusively for The Tudor Tailor by Michael Perry. All are based on original sources and are cast in lead-free pewter. They are sold in boxes of 12.
This particular design was made specially for the costume which graces the cover of our latest book, The Tudor Child. The costume was based on the painting of Lady Mary Feilding, aged seven (1620) by Daniel Mytens, Weiss Gallery, London and the small proportions of the gown required similarly petite buttons.
These are the smallest buttons we do and are particularly suited to children's clothing of the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries.
This listing is for buttons sized 8mm in diameter by 7mm tall.
Please note, the photo with the black background shows various button styles we offer and is only for reference. This listing is for 12 matching buttons of a single style.
